Managing Equipment & Raw Materials Lifecycle – Safe Entry & Exit

International companies (Construction, Oil & Gas, Energy) face a major challenge when projects end in Egypt: "How do we move our expensive equipment without customs complications?" Conversely, manufacturers seek ways to import raw materials "Duty-Free" for processing and re-export. At ElNgoom Egypt For Logistics, we manage Re-export operations and Temporary Admission systems as strategic solutions to reduce costs and recover financial guarantees.

1️⃣ Re-export Concept for Projects

Re-export services allow companies to temporarily bring equipment (excavators, cranes, servers) into Egypt for specific projects and then ship them out later. The problem is that foreign entities often lack an "Export License" to ship their own equipment out.

How do we help?

  • Regime Change: Converting shipment status from "Temporary Import" to "Final Export".
  • Export on Your Behalf (EOR): Using our license to handle export procedures and shipping equipment to your next project in Saudi Arabia or Africa.
  • Guarantee Recovery: Closing the customs file to release the "Letter of Guarantee" (LG) frozen upon entry.

2️⃣ Temporary Admission for Factories

This system is a "lifeline" for factories importing raw materials for processing and re-export. It allows you to import materials without paying a single dollar in customs duties, provided you submit a "Letter of Guarantee" and commit to exporting within a year.

Our Role: We manage the Temporary Admission file and handle the "Reconciliation" process with Customs after export to cancel the bank guarantee and clear your liability.

3️⃣ Drawback System & Tax Refunds

If you cannot provide a bank guarantee for Temporary Admission, the Drawback system is the alternative.

  • You pay full customs duties upon importing raw materials.
  • You manufacture and export the final product within two years.
  • We submit a Tax Refund request to reclaim what you paid from the public treasury.

4️⃣ EOR Role in Exit & Export

In all previous cases (re-exporting equipment or exporting finished goods), you need a local legal entity to finalize the process. Exporter of Record (EOR) services are used to manage final export operations, where official documents (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin) are issued under the name of ElNgoom Egypt For Logistics.

This ensures full compliance with the "Bank Form 4" regulations and protects your foreign entity from legal liabilities in Egypt.
